Special Topic Educational Display Contest 2024 Winners!

The 4-H BC Special Topic Educational Display Contest is an exciting event that showcases the knowledge and creativity of young individuals involved in 4-H clubs across the province. This years’ contest theme focused on Stay Safe, highlighting the importance of home and personal safety, day to day, or when emergencies strike! A Digital Poster category was included in this year’s contest, similar to last year. In addition to creating an educational display board, all 75 participants were invited to participate in a webinar hosted by The Ministry of Agriculture and Food and FortisBC on August 12th.

Island 4-H Rendezvous was hosted April 1, 2023, at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds with 115 participants, including volunteers and guest presenters. Attendees enjoyed a full day of in-person learning and fun that was very welcome after the last few years, as the event was on a hiatus through the pandemic.
